We loved how incredibly close the park views and charming landmarks were, with just a short walk to Spring Lake Park and the unique State Line Post Office and Federal Building adding to our city stroll experience. the proximity to great dining options like Texas Roadhouse also made it super convenient for our stay.

Unfortunate cleanliness issues included a dirty bathroom and poor maintenance, with slow-draining sinks and a malfunctioning air conditioner that affected comfort during our stay.

We had a great time with friends at this hotel! The spacious rooms and modern amenities were perfect for relaxing after a day out. We visited the Golf Ranch and Fair Grounds, both worth checking out. The friendly staff made our stay even better, providing a great breakfast and evening mixer to unwind.

Our only hassle was that parking got a bit tight during the weekends due to events nearby.

The staff was very helpful, friendly, and cute. The breakfast choices were different each day and really good, especially with the kids around. One morning, the breakfast lady even made a special effort to chat with my kids, and they loved it! We spent a lot of time in the lobby playing games together because of the rain, and the atmosphere was just right, felt like home.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for a family stay, it was still acceptable.

I enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn in Texarkana. The room was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchenette. It made preparing snacks easy. The staff stood out, always friendly and helpful. Breakfast had great variety each morning, which was a nice start to the day. I appreciated the evening socials. the food was decent and a great way to unwind. However, I encountered some issues. The shower had a problem with the hot water temperature, which made it uncomfortable. Also, the water in the kitchen sink drained slowly, which was a bit annoying. Parking felt tight on the weekend due to nearby events, so I had to time my arrivals carefully. Overall, it was a nice stay with room for improvement.

The Residence Inn By Marriott Texarkana features a modern and stylish décor, making common areas and the guest room enjoyable, while being easily navigable for seniors. The large open spaces were a pleasant surprise.
